Stones pelted at BJP workers in Shajapur

Indore: Violence broke out during counting of votes in Shajapur district headquarters on Sunday when Congress workers pelted stones at BJP workers across the road, prompting police to intervene to control the situation. Congress and BJP workers came face to face in front of ITI ground on old AB Road under Lalghati police station at around 3pm, but police intervened and prevented a flare up, Lalghati police station in-charge Sanjay Verma said.BJP workers were gathered outside a counting center in the area cheering their leader, when around 200 Congress supporters came and pelted stones at them, he said.
