True to his word: Kailash wins Indore-I by 58k votes

Indore: BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya comfortably won from Indore-I by a margin of close to 58,000 votes, which is alos his biggest ever victory.Vijayvargiya, who was contesting any (assembly) poll after a gap of 10 years, continued his winning streak by wresting Indore-I assembly seat from incumbent MLA and Congress candidate Sanjay Shukla.With this, many of the words he uttered during the election campaigning including his winning by at least 50,000 votes and BJP claiming MP, CG and Rajasthan, came true along with his saying that he would be surprised if Congress could win even 75 seats in the state.Vijayvargiya had claimed that BJP will win all nine seats of Indore district along with maximum constituencies of Malwa-Nimar region that reflected in the results.With this, many eyes are now on whats in store for him in the party and government as Vijayvargiya, in one of his public addresses during campaigning in Indore-I seat, had claimed that he was not contesting the election only to become MLA, but BJP would assign him a bigger responsibility. He defeated Bharatiya Janata Partys (BJP) candidate Ajit Singh Mehta. In the 2018 assembly polls, Pilot had defeated Yoonus Khan with a massive margin of 54,179 votes on the seat.
