CM helpline: 1k plaints disposed of in a day

Indore: Indore district administration on Friday claimed to have disposed of around 1,000 complaints registered at CM Helpline within a day as most of the cases were pending during model code of conduct enforced for the recently concluded assembly polls.According to collector Ilayaraja T, senior officials of all the government departments on Friday helped in disposing of as many as 959 complaints, concerning to their jurisdiction, registered at CM Helpline.A maximum 312 complaints disposed of today were related to the urban administration and housing department while 196 complaints were related to revenue department. Administration managed to reduce 20,718 complaints registered from Indore at CM Helpline to now close to 19,750 plaints that collector said will soon be disposed of. Fed up with their suffering, the couple decided to go on a hunger strike, carrying a poster to draw officials attention. Subhash, who had a 4-bigha farm land grabbed by influential people, said he had no other source of income and may take extreme steps. The sub-divisional magistrate ordered an investigation and action will be taken based on the outcome. Subhash, who lives with his family, had proper documents of the plot that was freed twice from their possession in the past.Nineteen enemy properties disposed of through e-auction: Home ministry informs Lok SabhaNineteen enemy properties in Uttar Pradesh have been disposed of through e-auction. Shares worth over Rs 2709 crore have been sold so far. The proceeds of sale are deposited in the Consolidated Fund of India. The disposal/auction procedure involves a valuation committee, enemy property disposal committee, and a high-level committee to recommend the sale of shares.
