Indore: The incumbent chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday said that following the success of the Ladli Behna, the state government will work on Lakhpati Behna through the formation of self-help groups and the creation of employment opportunities. Addressing a public meeting in Khandwa, Chouhan said, Small self-help groups will be formed and women of poor and middle class families will be linked with these groups for their economic and overall development.Efforts will be made to help women earn at least Rs 10,000 a month so that they can become a lakhpati within a year.Sisters will not have to shed tears out of compulsion and they will be provided the opportunity to live a life of self-respect, dignity and respect, he added.
