The driver of the dumper fled from the spot, leaving the vehicle behind," Station House Officer Maharajpur said. KANPUR: Six members of a family were killed while four others injured when a speeding dumper rammed into a roadside makeshift house in Maharajpur police area of Kanpur on late Friday night.The police rushed to the spot and identified the deceased as Kallu Quereshi (55), his son Waseem (25), daughter Shameemun (18), daughter-in-law Yasmeen (23) and grand-daughters Kareena (16), Suhana (14).Six other members of family including Qureshi's wife Sehrunisha and (52) and seven-month old grand-daughter Aliya, and two others, who suffered serious injuries have been admitted to the Kanshiram Trauma Centre and Lala Lajpat Rai hospital The police said that accident took place on Kanpur-Allahabad highway in Maharajpur town in Kanpur when the driver lost control over the dumper and rammed it into a roadside makeshift house.
