Bajrangi’s family alleges that while cops implemented the court order by ensuring his appearance as per the warrant, they forgot about another part of the same order that ‘he should be medically fit’.
A conversation has also surfaced in which a doctor is talking with Bajrangi's lawyer admitting to his illness.
LUCKNOW: The order of Baghpat’s chief judicial magistrate which asked Munna Bajrangi to appear in an extortion case on July 9, also advised the Jhansi jail authorities that he should be brought in ‘medically fit’ condition.
"All these developments raise many questions about UP Police’s intentions,” said Vikas Srivastava, the advocate for Bajrangi and his family.The court warrant has also mentioned that Bajrangi was appearing in Delhi and Varanasi court only through videoconferencing .
In its twopage order, which is also a warrant, the court took cognisance of as many as eight illnesses including hypertension , cervical and lumbar spondilysis and coronary artery disease .
