Nadira Babbar’s play Yeh Hai Bombay Meri Jaan staged recently, showcased challenges that people going to Mumbai from other states face. The story of the play dealt with the struggle of five friends Tikam, Devi Prasad, Rajan, Arif and Lakshya who reach Mumbai to succeed in life.

Sunday evening turned out to be an entertaining one for Kanpurites. Nadira Babbar’s play Yeh Hai Bombay Meri Jaan staged recently, showcased challenges that people going to Mumbai from other states face. The story of the play dealt with the struggle of five friends Tikam, Devi Prasad, Rajan, Arif and Lakshya who reach Mumbai to succeed in life. The play also showcased that how despite a lot of adversities, these five friends stand in support of their landlady Nancy who is a victim of domestic abuse.Actors Mithlesh, Sangam Shukla Rajeev Singh , Neha Sheikh, Gunjan, Kalyani and Haneef did full justice to their characters. Good lighting arrangement, sound and stage made it a must watch play for the audience.
