Kanpur: Former VHP leader and international president of Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad, Pravin Togadia, on Wednesday blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for farmers’ suicides in the country.“Modi government is to be blamed for the death of over 52,000 farmers, who ended life out of debt in the country,” Togadia said while addressing a farmers’ programme in the city at Koyla Nagar.“Farmers of the country have been betrayed and now they will not bear the torture anymore. It’s enough as for now. Farmers are being crushed under a burden of debt and are resorting to extreme step owing to wrong policies of the government. This government should go if they cannot do justice to the farmers,” demanded Togadia.Togadia also said that he will launch a new political party on February 9 in New Delhi.“We will field our candidates from each and every constituencies of UP. Also, we will inform farmers about the wrongdoings of BJP,” he added.Togadia added that BJP is making excuses on Ram temple issue. “They (the government) are again trying to befool the people by moving the Supreme Court on Ayodhya land. It’ s like drawing a picture of cow and giving it to one who is in dire need of milk,” he said.
