President Ramnath Kovind to visit on Monday, attend four events

After a brief stay at the airport, he will leave for Delhi at 5.45 pm.The President will felicitate six talented former students of DAV College. Harvinder Singh, Deepak kumar and Maria Jabeen have secured the highest marks in military science, art and in M.Sc respectively. The college management has inivited cricketer Tanmay Srivastava, Mohd Umar Hayat, Deepak Kumar, Maria Jabeen, Pratap Singh Sachan and Col Harvinder Singh Dharival. Ten minutes time (from 9.50 am to 10 am has been reserved for him.

KANPUR: President Ramnath Kovind will attend four functions during his visit to the city on February 25.The President, who belongs to neighbouring Kanpur Dehat district, will also meet some special persons, including his class mate Vidya Sagar Sharma, resident of Sainik Vihar in Barra.According to the programme released by the district administration, the President’s helicopter will land at the Chakeri airport at 9.20 am, and after ten minutes rest, he will move for Balaji Temple Salempur in Mahrajpur area of the district. Ten minutes time (from 9.50 am to 10 am has been reserved for him. He will offer prayers in a temple between 10 am to 10.25 am and unveil the Bharat Mata's statue.He will leave for Vipashyana Centre at Dyodhi Ghat, situated on the banks of Ganga at 10.30 am, and stay there till 11 am. He will return to Chakeri airport at 11.10 am and after ten minutes break, fly in a chopper for CSA campus.As per programme, the President will leave for DAV College ground from the university campus and reach there at 12 noon to attend the centenary function of DAV College. From DAV college, he will reach the Circuit House at 1.10 pm to take rest. He will meet some special persons between 3 pm and 3.45 pm, and reach BNSD Shiksha Niketan to attend another function.The first citizen will reach CSA University at 5.05 pm and from there he will fly back to the Chakeri airport. After a brief stay at the airport, he will leave for Delhi at 5.45 pm.The President will felicitate six talented former students of DAV College.
