KANPUR: The third day of Techkriti (the annual technical festival of IIT-Kanpur) remained a power-packed day as a number of events, competitions, workshops and talks were held.Later in the night, a rocking performance was delivered by renowned Bollywood singer Benny Dayal . Dayal sang a number of foot-tapping numbers to enthrall the audience.The event ground got jam-packed and students who had assembled in large numbers danced their heart out. There was loud cheers for Benny who also did not disappoint the students and sang such songs which were close to their heart.To mark their attendance, the students raised their hands in the air in unison. Benny acknowledged the same and his energy level also went high. Dressed up in a full-sleeve T-shirt and a short, Benny jumped, clapped and swirled to keep the energy high among the students who were too happy with his performance.Techkriti is an annual inter-collegiate technology and entrepreneurship festival organized by the students of Indian Institute of Technology-Kanpur. It was launched in 1995 with an aim of developing interest and encouraging innovation in technology among students. The festival is held for four days every March, attracting footfall of over 40,000 from all over India and abroad.
