The third death came to light on Monday morning when Bhola Nath, undergoing treatment at LLR hospital, died during treatment.
"My father and my cousin Umesh and one of our neighbours--Babbu-- had bought the liquor from Rahul's grocery shop on Thursday night.
Villagers alleged that Rahul used to bring 20 to 25 pouches of the country-made liquor from the country-made liquor shop and increase their quantity by mixing chemicals, repack the pouches and sell them from his grocery shop in order to make quick buck.
District magistrate Vijay Vishwas Pant had ordered a magisterial probe into the hooch tragedy.
"Investigation is being conducted to corroborate allegations of villagers that Rahul used to add chemicals in the liquor pouches bought from government country-made liquor outlets, said Circle Officer Shailndra Singh.
