IIT students watch live telecast of Chandrayaan’s Moon landing

Kanpur: The students and faculty of Indian Institute of Technology-Kanpur on Wednesday witnessed the historic moment of landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moons south pole. The histroic event was livestreamed on the institute campus on large screens. As soon as Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed on the moons surface, students erupted in joy. They captured the live moments on their mobile phones. They raised slogans and hailed the scientists of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). There was loud cheering for the scientists. Students shouted out loud Vande Mataram. Their enthusiasm was at an all time high. Everybody present there was in joyful and was cheerful. One of the students told TOI, We knew it this (successful landing of Chandrayaan-3) would be a success. There are no words to express the feelings right time. All I can say is that it is a proud moment for all the Indians.
