Kanpur: The birthday of the second President of India Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was observed as Teachers Day in all schools of Kanpur district on Tuesday.The students greeted their teachers and presented to them roses and gifts and in return received their blessings.Rotary Club, Kanpur North, organized a felicitation programme at Seth Motilal Kheria SD Inter College and felicitated teachers of around 65 educational institutes for their contribution in the field of education. BNSD Shiksha Niketan felicitated its teachers and the office staff and presented them mementos. Aditya Shankar Bajpai, manager and Shyam Arora, assistant manager of the school felicitated the teachers. Speaking on the occasion Bajpai said as a teacher is responsible for making a good society and shaping the future of the students, therefore, the teachers role in making a nation is very significant.Super House Education Foundation felicitated its five teachers who had completed ten years of teaching. Ruchi Seth, principal of Allen House Public School, Khalasi Line said, A teachers impact lasts throughout the lifetime and he/she shines like a star in the world of education.
