Kanpur: Noida Super Kings defeated Kashi Rudras in super over and collected full points in the on going UP T-20 league match held at the Green Park stadium on Wednesday.Kashi Rudras, batting first, posted a total of 165 for 7 with the help of Prince Yadavs 50 runs. Thereafter they restricted Noida Super Kings on 7 for 165 and tied the match. In the super over, Noida Super Kings beat Kashi RuRudras by 8 runs. Captain Nitish Rana and Osho Mohan came in the middle for the super over which was dropped by Atal Behari Rai. Nitish scored 16 runs while Osho Mohan contributed 1 run while two were extras. In reply, Karan and Prince Yadav faced Bhuvneshwar Kumar who conceded 11 runs.Kashi Rudras lost its captain Karan Sharma (5) early but Shiva Singh (36) and Shivam Bansal (37) repaired the damage adding 61 runs for the second wicket which later proved as the best partnership of the innings. Saurabh Kumar broke their union when he deceived Shiva Singh to come out of the crease and wicket keeper Adiya Sharma stumped him. He faced 28 balls and hit 4 boundaries and 3 sixes.Shivam Bansal was next to return and he contributed 37 runs in 3 balls. However, the highest 50 runs came from the bat of Prince Yadav. He smashed 3 sixes and 3 boundaries. Mohd Sharim was another batsman who was declared run out. Experienced Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked two wickets.Noida Super Kings lost its top two batsmen Samarth Singh and Arjun Bharadwaj for 10 runs. Thereafter Nitish Rana and Almas Shaukat pulled out their team from doldrums and added 62 runs for third wicket. Karan Sharma broke their partnership when Priyanshu Pandey caught him. Wickets thereafter fell at regular intervals. Medium pacer Atal Behari caused damage claiming four wickets in a row. Noida suffered a big setback when skipper Nitish Rana was adjudged as run out. He contributed 58 runs in 49 balls hitting 7 boundaries and a six.
