Kanpur: The family members of a pregnant woman, who died allegedly due to wrong treatment at a private hospital, created a ruckus accusing the hospital staff operator and its employees of negligence. The incident happened at the Old Shivli road in Kalyanpur police station area of the city on Friday. The hospital operator absconded after the incident occurred.On September 3, Aman had admitted his 21-year-old pregnant wife Chandni to a private hospital on Old Shivli Road for delivery, where she gave birth to a son.Chandnis condition worsened on September 7 night, after which the hospital staff took her to Lala Lajpat Rai hospital in an ambulance on the pretext of some test but they abandoned her allegedly at the gate of the hospital and fled thereafter.When the family members of Chandni reached LLR Hospital in search of her with the police, they found Chandni lying in a critical condition in the ICU. She died a few hours later.The family members of Chandni accused the private hospital operator and its employees of negligence and created a ruckus. The police rushed to the spot and pacified the agitated family members with an assurance of prompt action.Kalyanpur police station in-charge Dhananjay Kumar Pandey said action will be taken on the basis of the post-mortem report and the complaint of the family members
