Kanpur: BNSD Shiksha Niketan Inter College on Monday observed the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, the co-founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJS). He was born in 1916 in Nagla Chandrabhan village, now called Deendayal Dham, near the town of Farah in Uttar Pradeshs Mathura district.Chief guest RSS leader Arvind Mehrotra addressing the students said, The best life is assessed or measured after death. Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyays life was dedicated to the country, society and for the welfare of others. He was a man of inspiration. Though he led a simple life, his ideas and thoughts were of a very high level. He was a very good speaker, writer, journalist and philosopher and had dedicated his life to the nation and was a staunch supporter of Swadeshi.His ideology was that each citizen of the country should be developed and the last person of the society should get education and good health.Aparna Mishra, prime minister of Students Parliament proposed vote of thanks. Earlier, Gauranshi Tripathi, discipline secretary, spoke on the life of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay.
