Four imposters held during PET exam

Kanpur: Three imposters were caught in the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (PET) examination held in the district on Saturday. On the second day of the PET examination, one more imposter was held in the first shift of the examination at the Gandhi Smarak Inter College in Govind Nagar, here on Sunday. He had come to write the paper on behalf of someone else and was caught when the biometrics did not match. Govind Nagar police station in charge Devendra Dubey said Abhishek Tiwari of Prayagraj was appearing for the exam in place of Prayagraj resident Vikas Kesari. When his biometrics didnt match, information, the commission alerted the institution and the school manager cross-checked the credentials and Abhishek was held for impersonating the enrolled candidate. The deal between Tiwari and Kesari was allegedly finalised for Rs 2 lakh and half the amount had been paid upfront.Dhananjay, a native of Bihar, was caught appearing for the paper in place of Hussain Alam of Prayagraj at Narmada Devi Inter College of Naubasta police station area, while Anurag of Prayagraj was caught writing the exam with the help of a device in his ear at Aisha Siddiqi Inter College, Beconganj.At the Shiva Inter College, in Arra locality in Hanumant Vihar police station area, a solver, Aman Kumar, son of late Ramadhar of Pratapgarh, was caught appearing for the enrolled candidate Hamza, son of Maqsood. Sources said this time the invigilators team of the commission has used artificial Intelligence to nab the solvers.This technology matches the retina and thumb impression electronically. The team came to know that Hussain Alams thumb impression did not match at Narmada Devi Inter College and immediately informed the sector magistrate Manju Devi and the principal Mamata Dwivedi, who frisked Dhananjay and checked the documents and conducted his biometric test which failed to match and he was nabbed. A case has been registered against him under the Official Secrets Act.Aman Anand tops 67th main examination of Bihar Public Service CommissionAman Anand from Barh, Patna district, topped the 67th Joint Competitive Examination of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Nikita Kumari secured second position, while Ankita Choudhary secured third position. The top three candidates have been allotted the Bihar Administrative Service (BAS) and can be posted as sub divisional magistrates (SDM) after training. Khalid Hayat and Rishav Anand secured fourth and fifth positions and have been allotted the Bihar Police Service (DySP). The results of 15 candidates were cancelled, and the final merit list was prepared based on the marks obtained in written and viva examinations.
