Man gets 10-yr jail for exploiting deranged woman

Kanpur: Additional sessions judge Neelanjana sentenced accused Shailendra Kumar Saxena to ten years rigorous imprisonment and wit a fine of Rs 52,000 for physically exploiting a deranged woman.The court ordered that fifty percent of the fine amount be given to the victim and the remaining fifty percent be deposited in the DLSA The period which the accused had passed in jail during trial would be adjusted in the sentence period.According to ADGC Pradeep Kumar Bajpai, the complainant in his FIR lodged at the Sisamau PS on September 23, 2021 alleged that in his absence his neighbour Shailendra Kumar Saxena entered in his house, and when he came back, he found the accused thrashing and physically exploiting his deranged sister.We also published the following articles recentlyAndhra Pradesh: Kadapa court sentences murder case accused to 10 years imprisonmentA man in Andhra Pradeshs Kadapa district has been sentenced to ten years in prison and fined Rs. 50,000 for murdering his wifes uncle during an altercation in 2017. The NIA special court rejected the 42-year-old suspects plea for bail but ordered jail officials to provide him with non-spicy, non-fried food as advised by doctors. The suspect had claimed to be suffering from chest inflammation and infection and required surgery. However, after examining his medical records, the court found that he had been receiving proper care and therefore was not entitled to bail.
