Metro service from 6am to 7pm on Diwali

Kanpur: Keeping in view the festival of Diwali, the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has revised the timing of Kanpur Metro.According to UPMRC sources, Kanpur Metro services will be available from 6am to 7pm on the day of Diwali (November 12). Metro train services from both the terminal stations - IIT Metro Station and Motijheel Metro Station will start at 6am on the day while the last train will leave at 7pm.The Metro will run as usual from 6am to 10pm after the festival. Metro train services will start from 6 am on all lines and from 4.45 am on the Airport Express Line. This change in schedule is due to the Diwali festival.Delhi Metro announces delay in Pink Line serviceThe Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced a delay in the Pink Line service from Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus to Lajpat Nagar. However, it has assured that other service lines will not be affected. The DMRC has not given any specific reason for the delay, but has advised commuters to plan their travel accordingly. The Pink Line is the longest metro line in Delhi, consisting of 38 metro stations.
