KDMA beat Olympic Regd, win Ajay Sharma memorial cricket tournament

Kanpur: Rishabh Mishra and Priyansh Pandeys half centuries helped KDMA beat Olympic Regd. by 28 runs in the final and won the first Ajay Sharma memorial cricket tournament which concluded here at Kanpur South ground on Friday.KDMA, batting first, posted 6 for 201 runs in 20 overs. Rishabh Mishra and Priyansh Pandey contributed 78 and 59 runs respectively. Shubham Chaurasia bagged 3 wickets.Olympic Regd in reply could score 173 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Nikhil Rai and Aman Bhadoria were the main scorers and they hit 61 and 51 runs respectively. Ankit Singh picked 3 wickets for 26 runs. After the final tie, chief guest Vijay Kapoor gave away prizes to the winner and runner-up team . Priyanshu Pandey and Ankit Rajput of KDMA were adjudged as the best batsman and bowler respectively. Aman Bhadoria was declared as the player of the tournament.
