Chaos in Inter-City Express over news of fire in a coach

Kanpur: Chaos prevailed in the 12180 Agra-Intercity Superfast Express over the news of fire in one of its coaches on Sunday. At that time the train was passing through Achalda railway station of Auraiya. When the train was stopped and checked, it was found that someone had operated the fire extinguisher pump in one of the AC coaches of the train.The incident took place around 9.30 am.On receiving information, the driver stopped the train at Achalda station.As soon as the information was received, a team of RPF personnel reached the spot and conducted an investigation in the AC coach where the chaos had prevailed over information of fire. During investigation, it came to fore that someone had used a fire cylinder kept in the coach. The train was dispatched for the onward journey at 9:42 am.Public relations officer (NCR) Amit Kumar Singh said that smoke spread in the coach due to the operation of a fire cylinder installed in the AC coach. The train was stopped at Achhalda station and thoroughly checked.
