IAF air show, strategic display in city on Nov 24

Kanpur: The Indian Air Force will organise an Air Show and strategic display in Kanpur on November 24 to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the 1 Base Repair Depot (BRD).As a part of the air show, fighter planes Sukhoi-30 will perform stunts in the sky, Akash Ganga and Sarang Aerobatics teams will perform skydiving and other stunts with the tricolour and AN-32 aircraft will show its victory performance, said an official spokesperson.The programme will also include a vintage aircraft flying display for about four hours. The Eastern Command of the Indian Air Force activated its Air Defence response mechanism based on visual inputs from Imphal airport but the object was not seen again. The Rafale fighters are deployed in the eastern sector along the China border.
