Kanpur: Police on Saturday registered a molestation case against a teacher of a composite school in Unnao district.Inspector Sadar Kotwali PK Mishra said that on the complaint of the school cook Ruby Devi, a case has been registered against head teacher Rajesh Kumar under the IPC sections including molestation of girl students. Raids are underway to arrest the accused, he said.The matter came to light when the school students lodged a complaint on the portal of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights.Subsequently, member of the Commission Preeti Bhardwaj reached the school, conducted an investigation and recorded statements of all the victim girl students on Saturday.An FIR was registered against the head teacher on Sunday. A total of 169 students are registered in the composite school of Sikandarpur Sarosi.
