Tractor rams into tree, homeguard killed

Kanpur: A woman home guard was killed when a tractor on which she was travelling rammed into a tree in Bilhaur areaof the district on Monday. The incident occurred at around 9.30 am when homeguard -Gadeerun Nisha, a resident of Chamanganj area, was going to Makanpur in Bilhaur, on a tractor, being driven by a local of Makanpur. When they reached near Rahimpur Kareempur village, the tractor crashed into a roadside tree, leaving Gadeerun Nisha critically injured.She was taken to Bilhaur Community Health Centre where Gadeerun was declared dead. Body was later sent for for postmortem examination.
