SSC exam: Candidate & solver held

Kanpur: Two persons were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly using unfair means in the second shift of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Delhi Police recruitment examination at Jan Kalyan Seva Samiti, Hathipur, in Maharajpur police station area of the district. As soon as the invigilator informed about the incident, the centre administrator handed over bothto the Maharajpur police.Later, on the complaint of the centre administrator, the police booked a case under the Examination Act, fraud, preparation and use of forged documents.Vipin Dwivedi, centre administrator, stated in his complaint that on Tuesday, the examination of SSC Delhi Police was going on in the Jan Kalyan Seva Samiti located in Hathipur on the Kanpur-Fatehpur-Allahabad highway. In the second shift, Ajit Kumar, a resident of Mant, Mathura, was caught trying to take the exam in place of Shivam Kumar, resident of Shamli district, he stated in his complaint.Investigation further revealed that Ajit had entered the centre by putting his photo in the admit card. The solver and the candidate confessed of trying to take the examination by using unfair means. Police station in-charge Abhishek Shukla said that an FIR has been lodged against the solver and the candidate.
