Court reserves order on plea against SP MLA Irfan Solanki

Kanpur: MP/MLA/additional sessions court judge Satyendra Tripathi on Monday reserved its order on the defence counsels application under the Gangster Act case against Samajwadi Party MLA Irfan Solanki and his brother Rizwan Solanki.The court, after hearing the arguments of both the defence and prosecution, reserved its order and fixed December 18 for delivering the order.According to Bhaskar Mishra, the Samajwadi Party MLA, his brother Rizwan and others were present in the court. Mevani and his associates were accused of damaging a police vehicle, shouting slogans, and rioting during their detention in September that year. The police had filed a chargesheet against Mevani and the others.
