Solanki case: ‘CDR,location reporttampered with’

Kanpur: In an arson case registered against Samajwadi Party MLA Irfan Solanki, his brother Rizwan Solanki and others, the defence counsel on Thursday claimed that the call detail report (CDR) and location report submitted by respective companies were tampered and they should be granted time to file detailed objections.The case is being tried in MP/MLA court, Kanpur, additional session judge XI, Kanpur Nagar.In compliance with the MP/MLA courts order, the mobile service provider companies had submitted the call detail report and location reports of the accused. Presiding judge Satyendra Narayan Triparhi had directed the service provider companies to produce the call detail report and location report of the accused. The court had earlier dismissed the defence application to summon CDR and location report. But on direction of Allahabad High Court, the court heard the case once again and directed the companies to produce the CDR and Location report.The defence counsel after witnessing the CDR and location report claimed that both were tampered with and thus to file detailed objections they should be given time.According to Bhaskar Mishra, additional district government counsel, the prosecution opposed the application and urged that the defense was not interested in disposing of its application and thats why he was seeking time to file an objection.
