200 judicial staff tested for Covid

In the first phase 200 judicial employees working in different courts of the city were tested today. Divulging the details CJM-cum-Secretary DLSA Preeti Sukhija said two teams comprising Dr Bhagwant (dentist) AMO Dr Ramandeep rural pharmacy officer Navjot Kaur and urban pharmacy officer Sandeep Singh conducted the test of the judicial employees. Reports would be sent on the mobile number of employees and would be made physically available shortly. The Sessions Judge urged the employees not to shy away from getting the tests conducted as it would be useful for them. In a letter to District Bar Association (DBA) president Gurkirpal Singh Gill the Sessions Judge asked him to motivate the lawyers for getting the test conducted.

Legal Correspondent Ludhiana November 27 The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) under the supervision of chairman-cum-sessions judge Gurbir Singh and with the assistance of the Ludhiana Civil Surgeon has initiated a move for ensuring Covid-19 test for all judicial officers and employees. He also appealed to general public for being vigilant and follow the instructions issued by the administration and government from time to time to avoid the spread of disease.
