Unions show solidarity with farmers at Sahnewal Doraha

Punjab Educationists Forum Government Pensioners Association Pensioners Association Technical Services Union BEd Adhyapak Front Anganwadi Workers Union All Traders Union Nagar Council Karamchari Union Rampur Writers Association Youth Forum Doraha Ambulance Welfare Society Patwar Union Bhartiya Yog Sansthan Doraha Artiya Association Association of Unaided College teachers of Punjab Marxist Communist Party of India (United) sangat of Gurdwara Reru Sahib Sahnewal Gurdwara Langar Sahib Nanded and villagers of all the surrounding villages of Doraha and Sahnewal actively took part in the bandh. Protesters said the farm laws were detrimental not only for the farmers but also for employees labourers pensioners and the public. “The impact of the agitation has been such that people irrespective of their castes communities religions and regions are participating in it” shared the protestors. “This second war of independence from the corporate companies has to be fought together with grit and wisdom” protesters said.

By way of these laws big business and corporate houses would loot the people by storing agricultural produce and selling it at arbitrary prices by creating artificial scarcity” the supporters rued. “The impact of the agitation has been such that people irrespective of their castes communities religions and regions are participating in it” shared the protestors. “This second war of independence from the corporate companies has to be fought together with grit and wisdom” protesters said.
