Tribune News Service Ludhiana December 9 The weather is likely to be dry during the next 72 hours and light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected at a few places in the region. As per the advisory issued by Punjab Agriculture University (PAU) shallow/moderate fog is expected during morning/evening in the state. At the same time experts at the PAU said dense fog was likely to be witnessed at isolated places during the next 24 hours in the state with thunderstorms/lightning expected at isolated places on December 11 and 12. Otherwise in the next two days the weather will remain dry. The maximum temperature will hover around 25-26°C while the minimum will be up to 13-14°C. For farmers it is advised to do crop operations as light to moderate rain is expected. As it was partially cloudy and winds were blowing in the morning today residents expected a rainfall but later in the afternoon sun played hide and seek providing relief to elderly who were seen basking in the sun.
