Govt committed to promote sports culture says Bindra

Ludhiana December 16Sukhwinder Singh Bindra Chairperson Punjab Youth Development Board held a meeting with coaches of the district to discuss the distribution of sports kits among players and listen to their problems. The meeting was held at Guru Nanak Stadium. Bindra said the main objective of the meeting was to distribute sports kits to the deserving youth and encourage them to pursue sports and make the state proud. Bindra said he has been visiting all districts to know the grassroots-level problems being faced by the youth. In the meeting District Sports Officer Ravinder Singh athletic coach Sanjeev Kumar shooting coach Gurjeet Singh gymnastic coaches Bhupinder Singh Prem Singh and Shailja judo coach Navdeep Jindal softball coach Nirmaljeel Kaur basketball coach Saloni lawn tennis coach Kuldeep Chugh and wrestling coach Sukhmander Singh among other prominent persons were present.
