Drunk man stabs sister

Ludhiana: The police have booked Roshan Masih a resident of Tibba Colony in Mundian Khurd under Section 324 Indian Penal Code (IPC) for allegedly stabbing and injuring his sister Monika. The complainant told the police that her brother had come home in an inebriated condition on the night of December 18 and started vomiting. She said when she scolded him for his conduct the suspect lost his temper and stabbed her with a kitchen knife. The complainant said he owned a plot in Jhande village where he had raised a boundary wall. “On December 18 I learnt that the suspects had razed down the boundary wall with the intention of taking possession of the land.

The victim with grievous injuries was admitted to the Christian Medical College and Hospital for treatment. OC Cell phone found in jail Ludhiana: The police have registered a case under Section 52-A of the Prison Act against unknown persons on a report received from Parduman Kumar Assistant Superintendent Central Jail which said during a surprise checking a mobile phone handset was seized from the jail premises. OC Four booked for trespass Ludhiana: The police have booked four persons Namrata Harish Kumar both residents of Naveen Nagar Haibowal Kalan Gaurav Batra and his wife under Sections 447 511 and 427 IPC for allegedly making a bid to take illegal possession of a plot in Jhande village owned by Surinder Sandhu a resident of PAU Campus. The complainant said he owned a plot in Jhande village where he had raised a boundary wall. “On December 18 I learnt that the suspects had razed down the boundary wall with the intention of taking possession of the land. However when I reached the spot tyhey escaped from the place” Sandhu said. OC Woman daughter go missing Ludhiana: A married woman Geeta Devi (33) aong with her daughter has been reported missing from her home here since November 12 2020. Father of the woman Upinder Singh had lodged a report with the police saying his daughter and granddaughter had left home without telling anybody about their whereabouts. The police have registered a case under Section 346 Indian Penal Code. OC
