A case of molestation of a 100-year-old woman has been reported in the Ludhiana district of Punjab. The charges are levelled against 70-year-old Nandoi of the woman. The family of the elderly woman blackened the face of the accused, garlanded him with shoes and slippers and also made him walk semi-naked into the locality.
The incident took place 4 days ago in the Gopal Nagar area under Haibowal police station, but the revelation took place on Monday morning, After the video went viral, the police started investigating the case by registering a case against the woman and her family.
On the other hand, the police have registered a case against the woman and her family, alleging molestation on the complaint of the victim`s son.
According to the information received, the accused was returning from a function organized at the neighbour`s house. Close to his house is his brother-in-law`s house. Seeing this, the old niece made a noise, accusing her of molesting her. He told his family about this.
It is being told that all the villagers kept watching this incident with the elderly as a mute spectator, did not try to defend the middle.
Villagers also made a video of the case. It is alleged that people threatened the elderly that if he told the police about the incident, he would have to bear the consequences, but the video of the incident went viral on social media, after which the police took cognizance and registered a case.
