| Photo Credit: ma19Jallikattu_dgl2A total of 15 tamers were injured in a jallikattu held at Thavasimadai village as part St. Antony’s Church festival near here on Sunday. Health officials conducted a special medical camp to treat injured tamers. With narrow play field, the bulls easily crossed the play area and ran towards the exit point. A total of 434 bulls from Madurai, Dindigul, Theni, Pudukottai and Tiruchi districts took part and 300 tamers participated. The injured were treated in a medical camp held at the village.
