Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) V. Sasi Mohan handing over sweets to Pavithra, who was rescued by Madurai city police after being kidnapped in May 2017. He appreciated the efforts of the special team including Mathichiyam Inspector Suresh and Anti-Child Trafficking Wing Inspector Murugesan. A special team investigating the child missing case recently got a clue about the role of Meena of Reittanpatti near Srivilliputtur. Addressing media persons, Deputy Commissioner of Police V. Sasi Mohan said that five persons, including a juvenile, were arrested in this connection.
