Philanthropist Hardas donates ₹1.5cr to set up incubation centre in LITU

Nagpur: Philanthropist and entrepreneur Loksarang Hardas has donated ₹1.5 crore to set up state-of-the-art LIT Incubation Centre in city. Christened Loksarang Hardas Incubation Centre, the modern facility will be inaugurated at Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University (LITU) on Amravati Road on December 16 during the two-day Renaissance 2023 global alumni meet.The centre will be inaugurated by deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis in the presence of Chandrakantdada Patil. An alumni of Laxminarayan Institute of Technology (LIT), Hardas, is founder CEO of USAs leading business group LAs Totally Awesome. He hails from Nagpur and currently is residing in the US. The modern incubation centre will provide a platform for young creative minds of LITU to transform their innovative ideas into viable propositions.The LIT has recently been converted to state-owned Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University. The chairman of the Board of Governance of LITU Padma Shri Prof Dr GD Yadav and LIT alumni Loksarang Hardas, Dolly Hardas, LITU VC Dr Raju Mankar, LITAA chairman Madhav Labhe, vice-chairman Ramesh Tarale, secretary Utkarsh Khopkar, treasurer Sachin Palsokar, head of Renainance 2023 Ajay Deshpande, principal advisor Mohan Pande, eminent alumni Dr Sugandha Garwey, Dr Madhvi Vairagade, Rakesh Gupta and Shrikant Gudhdhe will be present during the inaugural function.
