MAITRI Act will facilitate ease of doing business

Nagpur: MAITRI Act 2023 will prove to be a game changer as it will enable to create an effective single window system for delivery of services related to issuing of permissions required for establishing and operating industries thus facilitating ease of doing business including grievance redressal mechanism in the state, said Deependra Singh Kushwah, development commissioner (ind) Maharashtra.He was interacting with COSIA team at Udyog Bhavan. He said that it will facilitate to develop and maintain a portal for providing all necessary information required for investment in the state. He said that MAITRI portal will integrate 119 services which may be required for setting or expanding the industrial unit. Kushwah briefed the COSIA team on various new sectoral policies of the state that are being prepared. COSIA Vidarbha led by CA Julfesh Shah, chairman also submitted a memorandum of suggestions to be included in new policy. tnnWe also published the following articles recentlyMore than 100 websites blocked for facilitating illegal investments, heres how these websites operatedThe government has blocked over 100 websites involved in illegal investments and part-time job frauds. Operated by overseas actors, these websites were identified by the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centres National Cybercrime Threat Analytics Unit (NCTAU). The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) executed the blocking of these websites following the NCTAUs findings. The illicit activities exploited digital advertising, chat messengers, and utilized mule and rented accounts. The proceeds from these economic crimes were being laundered out of India through various means.RBI, Bank of England sign MoU to facilitate cross-border settlement, clearing activitiesRBI and BoE signed an MoU to cooperate and exchange information regarding CCIL. CCIL is regulated by RBI. The MoU was signed by RBI Deputy Governor T Rabi Sankar and BoE Deputy Governor Sarah Breeden. It aims to facilitate cross-border settlement and clearing activities.
