IMD: Temperature on rise in Nashik, no respite for 2-3 days

Nashik: There has been a rise in the maximum temperature in the city over the last few days.The maximum temperature in the city has increased from 30.3°C on Tuesday to 33.8°C on Sunday. The minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 19.8°C.According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky conditions will remain clear for the next six days. The maximum temperature is likely to increase up to 35°C in the next two or three days, officials said.The weather is pleasant and cool in the morning. We have been facing heat conditions at noon for the past few days in the city, said Swapnil Patil, a city resident.In Niphad too, the maximum temperature is set to rise by 2-3 degrees, the weather station at the Agricultural Research Centre of Rahuris Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV), located in Niphad, said.On Sunday, the town recorded a maximum and minimum temperature of 34.2°C and 18.2°C, respectively. Two cold fronts will deliver a one-two punch of cold air, causing temperatures to plummet by as much as 35 degrees by the weekend.
