Flower seller dies, 2 hurt as car crashes into market

Nashik: A flower seller was killed and two other were injured when a car crashed into a roadside market in the Indiranagar area on Saturday afternoon.The deceased, Mandabai Gangadhar Ashtikar (60), was a resident of Pathardi Phata. The injured, Babita Badarge and Ratanbai Popat Waghchaure, were also selling flowers near Ashtikar when the accident happened. Ashitkar was selling flowers on the service road near Pathardi Phata at 3pm on Saturday when a car went straight onto her and the other two women. The flower seller suffered serious injuries in the accident. Her son rushed her to a private hospital in the same area, where she was declared dead. The car driver, Kiran Gosavi, had lost control of the car.
