Three bikers killed in separate accidents

Nashik: Three people were killed in separate road accidents in the city from Saturday to Tuesday. The accidents took place in the jurisdiction of the Mhasrul, Ambad and Satpur police stations. In all three cases, the victims were bikers hit by four-wheelers. The Mhasrul police said the deceased person was identified as Parashram Shekhre of Dindori. Shekhre was riding his bike on Dindori Road at around 8.30pm on Monday when a minibus coming from the opposite direction knocked him down.The biker suffered serious injuries in the accident and succumbed to the same. The Mhasrul police registered a case against the 38-year-old minibus driver for causing death due to negligence.In the other case, registered by the Satpur police, 34-year-old Sandeep Gaikwad of Mahalaxmi Chowk died after suffering injuries in an accident when hit by a car in the Saptur industrial area on Saturday evening. He was rushed to the Nashik civil hospital where he died during the course of treatment on Sunday evening. The Satpur police booked the unidentified car driver. Meanwhile, in the case registered by the Ambad police, 28-year-old Ganesh Dumbre of Shivpuri Chowk died when hit by an unidentified car near Lekha Nagar on Tuesday at around 5.15am. The accused have been arrested in most cases, except for the incidents involving juveniles. The incidents include a man sexually assaulting a young student, a man making sexual remarks to a student in an autorickshaw, three boys abusing a classmate, a food delivery agent assaulting a student, a man masturbating in front of a woman, and an autorickshaw driver flashing a female passenger. Police are investigating and making efforts to apprehend the perpetrators.
