Nashik: A resident of Nashik Road has registered a complaint against Naresh Karda, now in magisterial custody, for allegedly cheating him of Rs18.4 lakh after promising a flat.The complainant alleged that in March this year he entered into an agreement with Naresh Karda who offered him a flat on the fifth floor of Hari Krishna Phase 4. The victim paid him about Rs 18.4 lakh over a period.He took a loan for the remaining amount.The victim claimed that despite having paid the money, he was not given the flat. He said he also came to know that flat was auctioned by finance company, which financed the project, without his knowledge. No one was injured in the incident. The flat belongs to a South Korean couple and their daughter. The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Arms Act. They are examining CCTV footage to identify the person responsible for firing the bullet.
