Nashik city’s min temp falls to 14°C, lowest so far this yr

Nashik: Nashik city registered a minimum temperature of 14.2 degrees Celsius on Thursday, the lowest of the season so far.The previous lowest temperature was 14.5 degrees on October 28 of this year.Moreover, Nashik was the third coldest city in Maharashtra after Niphad and Aurangabad, which recorded minimum temperatures of 12.2 and 13.4 degrees, respectively.There has been a drop in the minimum temperature in the city during the last five days. The temperature dropped from 19.4 degrees on Saturday to 14.2 degrees on Thursday. The maximum temperature of the city, too, has declined from 32.3 degrees to 30.7 degrees.We have been feeling cold early in the morning since Wednesday,. Colleges have criticized the four-year programme, citing lack of infrastructure and resources. The sub-committee will seek teacher input and propose an alternative policy. Academics have welcomed the urgent attention given to the issue.
