Flights from Jalgaon to Pune, Goa & Hyderabad in Feb

Nashik: A Goa-based private airline, will start flights from Jalgaon on three routes — Pune, Goa and Hyderabad — under UDAN-5.0 from February next year. The officials of Fly91 met Jalgaon district collector Ayush Prasad and informed him about the new routes. A 76-seater ATR would operate on these three routes. The air connectivity to Punewill benefit the residents of Jalgaon, especially students.At present, 58 buses ply between the two cities on a daily basis, Prasad said.The airline has plans to start operations from Jalgaon in February next year. They are in the process of getting all the required permissions from the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and other authorities, the collector added. At present, no commercial flights operate from the Jalgaon airport managed by the Airport Authority of India (AAI).Earlier, a private airline had started operations from Jalgaon to Mumbai and Pune in September 2019. However, the airline stopped operations in April 2022 due to some technical reasons. The Fly91 officials, during the meeting, said the first flight will start on the Jalgaon-Pune route in the first week of February, the Jalgaon-Goa route will start by the last week of February, and the Jalgaon-Hyderabad route will start in March.We also published the following articles recentlyIndiGo to be first airline to start flights from Noida AirportIndiGo will be the first airline at Noida International Airport (NIA), scheduled to be operational by the end of next year. The race route includes challenging terrains and climatic changes within a short time. Participants from around the country, including international athletes, will compete in the race. The event also features a Relay Team format, where teams take turns racing the route. This year, five solo women are attempting to qualify for the Race Across America (RAAM), inspiring more women to take up the sport.For next four months, start early to catch red-eye flightsTraffic movement on VIP Road is being restricted for four months to facilitate Metro construction work. This will suspend driving along a 600-metre stretch of the city-bound flank from an airport hotel crossing between 11pm and 5am everyday till the last week of February. The average speed of vehicles on this stretch has come down to around 10 kmph. The closure of the city-bound flank has resulted in the splitting of the airport-bound flank to accommodate vehicles heading to both the airport and Ultadanga. 250 traffic marshals have been deployed to manage traffic.
