Nashik: President Droupadi Murmu visited the Shani Shingnapur temple in Nevasa taluka of Ahmednagar district on Thursday.Murmu performed pooja of Lord Shani at the temple.She landed at a helipad in Nevasa on Thursday morning, where she was received by Governor Ramesh Bais, Ahmednagar and Nashik guardian ministers Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and Dada Bhuse, respectively.Then, President Murmu came to the Shaneshwar Temple and paid her obeisance to Lord Shani.She was welcomed at the temple by the president of Shri Shaneshwar Devasthan, Shanishingnapur.We briefed the president about the greatness of the temple and the tradition.
