PATNA: BJP president Amit Shah on Thursday said the “golden age” of the BJP was still not around even though it had won the majority of parliamentary seats in 2014 and formed governments in 19 states. “The e-library has been linked with the party’s central library that has 5,500 books,” convener of the e-Library and former MLC Vivek Thakur said. The e-library at Patna is the 13th one of the party in the country. “Our golden age will come when we form our governments in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal,” Shah said while addressing the meeting of the incharges of the booth-level Shakti Kendras of the party.State BJP president Nityanand Rai, who also addressed the meeting, said, “We will stake our life and even make a sacrifice to win all the 40 parliamentary seats in the state.”Earlier, party’s state general secretary (organisation) Nagendra Ji informed the audience that Shah might come to Patna again in November this year to review the second stage of assigned work to strengthen the booth-level committees of the party.State health minister Mangal Pandey and road construction department minister Nand Kishore stressed on the significance of the booth-level organisational structure and the need for the inclusion of fresh voters in the voters’ list.Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi said with JD (U) back to the BJP, the NDA has become greater force in the state than the Grand Alliance.Later in the day, Shah inaugurated Nanaji Deshmukh Library and also an e-library at the party’s state headquarters.
