Traffic curbs on Patna roads for Durga Puja

Vehicular traffic will also be restricted from Patna Junction , Bhattacharya Road and Kotwali towards Dak Bunglow roundabout as well as from Boring Road to Rajapur, Nala Road to Thakurbari, Bakarganj to Saidpur and Dariyapur to Gola Road, among other areas.Besides, some locations like LIC building to Bata showroom on Fraser Road, area in front of Buddha Smriti Park, Sinha Library Road, the grounds in Patna Science College and Patna College have been earmarked for parking. Routes such as Gandhi Chowk (from west to east) and Gaighat to Patna City have been declared one way to avoid rush on roads.Gandhi Maidan traffic police SHO Ghanshyam Murari said, “There will be special teams to check rash and drunken driving across the city.
