Amit amp Chittaranjan get President gold medal

They include PG students Piyush Kumar Singh (civil engineering) and Daivamdinne Manohar Reddy (electronic engineering) and UG students Shivans Singh (computer science engineering), Vishal Verma (electrical engineering), Kumar Piyush (electronic engineering) and Akansha Sachdeva (civil engineering). PATNA: Mechanical engineering students Amit Kumar Choudhary (postgraduate course) and Chittaranjan Kumar Jha (undergraduate course), who were declared the overall toppers, received the President and director’s gold medals from Ram Nath Kovind during the eighth convocation ceremony of National Institute of Technology-Patna held at the Gyan Bhavan on Thursday.The President also gave away the director’s gold medal and certificates to six others. Sachdeva also received the K N and Arjun Rohatgi Gold Medal and BCE-NITP Alumni Gold Medal.Addressing the audience, chief minister Nitish Kumar and NIT-P director Pradip Kumar Jain said 90% of the students of different PG and UG courses had been selected for jobs in 55 different companies during 2017-18.
