Similarly, the DRI sleuths had seized 1.3 tonne of ganja at Harda in Purnia district on May 31. DRI sources said three occupants of the truck – Pargat Singh, Bikkar Singh and Buddha Shil – were arrested in connection with the seizure. PATNA: Sleuths of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized 840kg of ganja worth around Rs 10 crore in international market from a container truck at Ram Dayalu in Muzaffarpur town in the wee hours of Monday.The contraband was concealed inside a specially created box above the driver’s cabin. Pargat, the owner of the truck, was at the wheel.“The consignment, which was loaded at Agartala in Tripura, reached Bihar via Purnia and Darbhanga. It was supposed to be unloaded at Bidupur in Vaishali,” the DRI sources said, adding the seized ganja was valued at Rs 90 lakh in domestic market.On July 23 this year, a joint team of the DRI and the Special Task Force of state police had seized 488kg of ganja at Mokama in Patna .
