CTET at 4 more centres in Bihar this year: CBSE

The CTET will be held on July 7.A notification in this regard was issued by CBSE secretary and CTET director Anurag Tripathi on Tuesday. PATNA: Apart from Patna and Muzaffarpur , the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) at four more centres in the state – Bhagalpur, Darbhanga , Gaya and Hajipur – this year. According to the notification, the number of exam centres was increased from two to six in the state due to rise in number of applicants.The notification further stated that the candidates may now choose or change their examination centres as per their convenience between May 26 and April 1. The candidates have been asked to list three examination centres in their preferential order on www.ctet.nic.in.“The candidates who had earlier selected Patna and Muzaffarpur centres can also modify their choice,” the notification read.CTET is a national level entrance examination conducted to appoint skilled teachers for primary level and upper primary level in Kendriya Vidyalayas and other central schools.
