The condition of CoronaVirus Infection remains severe in some states of the country including Bihar. This situation was reviewed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday with the Chief Ministers of the respective states. The Prime Minister connected with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar (CM Nitish Kumar) through video conferences with Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Punjab, Gujarat, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh. During this time, the Prime Minister emphasized on increasing the number of corona investigations in Bihar, including some states.

80% of total active cases in 10 states of the country

In the video conference, the Prime Minister said that today 80 percent of some six lakh Active Cases of Corona (COVID-19) are in these 10 states. In such a situation, the role of these states in the war against Corona has become very large. He said that in states where the test rate is low and where the positivity rate is high, there is a need to increase the COVID-19 Test. Investigations, especially in Bihar, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Telangana, will have to be increased.

Investigation helps in prevention of infection

The Prime Minister said that today the number of investigations has reached seven lakhs. It is continuously increasing. This is helping to identify and prevent infection (CoronaVirus Infection). Even before us the average death rate was much lower than in the world earlier, the good thing is that it is constantly decreasing.

Containment, contact tracing and surveillance effective weapon

The Prime Minister said that Containment, Contact Tracing and Surveillance | is the most effective weapon against Corona. Now the general public is also understanding it. It is also getting the support of the public.
